Going into NYC frequently, I am often on a NJ Transit train that stops in Secaucus (always while a couple of others fly past, which make me think I should have been less impatient in Newark).

And I figured that even though there is a Turnpike exit especially for the station, that there must be a reason why there was no park and ride parking (which would be perfect on days when the Raritan Valley Line is up to its old tricks). Maybe because of the fragile wetlands, or maybe because of security reasons?

Nahhh. Turns out NJ Transit was just stupid.
