Here’s a guy who’s huffy that the Department of Homeland Security actually compiles a database on where passengers go, tracking IP address of where the tickets were purchased, and who purchased the tickets.

My surprise? That they actually have the databases talking to each other to see if anyone who’s sure to be trouble is flying.

And while this info collection probably won’t help much in preventing another 9/11 style attack in itself, wouldn’t it be exceedingly helpful in connecting the dots after an attack?
